BadGameHOF

"Bad games" apologist / enthusiast.

The Bad Game Hall of Fame is dedicated to giving bad games the due process they deserve. Through examining their history, reviewing their contents, and measuring their impacts on the industry; we hope to bring about a better understanding of these oft-dismissed releases.

Along the way, we'd like to give readers a better understanding of how the games industry operates, and the pressure put on game developers to deliver these products in such short order.

Most of you already following this account are likely already familiar with my work. For those of you who aren't: Howdy! My name is Cassidy, and I run a site by the name of the Bad Game Hall of Fame. It's been around since January of 2016, and its focus has been to provide deep dives on games largely considered to be "bad" -- by measure of critical consensus, public opinion, or a combination of the two. Along the way, we like to give readers / viewers a better understanding of how the games industry operates, and the pressure put on game developers to deliver these products in such short order.

This site was neat, and I'm sad to see it go. But we persist, and so we must move our posting on over to Bluesky. It's certainly lacking for features compared to here, but country girls make due.

Additionally / alternatively: You may be so inclined to join our Discord community, if you're interested in regular hangouts on voice chat and other such activities.

So long and thanks for all the eggs.

Last night, we wrapped our series "The LJN Connection" -- the culmination of four months spent playing through every LJN-published video game, ranking them from best to worst, and covering the history behind the rainbow. It was quite the undertaking, if I may say so, and we're damn proud of our work.

More than that, we're thrilled that we have an audience willing to come along with us on oddball streaming adventures like this, and that many of them originated from this here website. To everyone who started following us thanks to our posting here on cohost!, I wanna extend a heartfelt "thank you" for taking the chance on us, and let you know that I hope to keep seeing all y'all down the road!
