unfortunately, my embarrassing affection for donna tartt has only deepened in the last month.
this was the only reading i got done in March, but considering it's significantly longer than anything else i've read for The Badreads Project, i'll forgive myself. i read secret history in two sittings, but i was happy to spread this one out quite a bit more - its scope (physical, temporal, emotional) is so large that the feeling that i've been living in its world for an eternity is quite appropriate. also it's literally way longer.
