Just don't share something and say "oh yeah it sucks"
I've seen it happen so many times. I know it's some sort of defense mechanism against criticism (or something along those lines) but it'll only lower the perception of what you made for other people.
I've also heard it's better to try to make "ironic" jokes about how amazing you are instead—hopefully, you start believing it, and it opens the chance for people to add on genuinely without taking the role of contradicter
im definitely guilty of this, although it's not a defense mechanism against criticism, it's legitimate distaste for my own work because of my perfectionism - which is definitely an issue i struggle with. i honestly don't care about getting negative feedback, because whatever problem someone else points out, i've already been frowning at for an hour or two straight. im trying to get better about accepting "good enough" though. making a lot of "good enough" stuff is more meaningful and more fulfilling than hammering away at one thing until you're sick of it
