I've been wracking my brain all day for a post to make about this topic, but I finally figured it out! If there is any chance to make something about Noto Gin The Caligula Effect 2 then I will Do It.
Pictured above is some pre-boss dialogue in Chapter 3 of CE2, where Noto Gin confronts self-proclaimed astronaut-artist-Musician & social media influencer MU-kun for all of the narcissistic & pretentious crap that he and his groupies spout about his pieces. At first glance, a lot of MU-kun's "art" (sculptures with paint tossed on it, vague splashes of paint against a canvas, etc.) seems nonsensical, though the meanings he ascribes to certain pieces are very cosmicute ✰ (AKA it's spoilers!) This doesn't stop his fans from blowing up his ego though, which is something that strikes practically all of Gin's nerves.
Sure, Gin might be projecting a little bit when it comes to some stuff (that's also spoilers!) but he sees right through MU-kun's facade, then proceeds to tear him down before the actual RPG fight starts. As they say, sticks and stones may break my bones but words will leave deep psychological scars that will take years of therapy to heal ✰
Honestly, I love my bestie when he's a hater. Good for him! Noto Gin stays winning.
