New Ko-fi post is up. TL;DR: I'm too disabled to work (a physical labor job)! Furlough continues.

As you can already guess from the title of this post, news is... not great!
So here's a rough timeline of events that have happened since the last post:
1. I have an online Rheumatology appointment on October 20, 2022. The doctor doesn't think that I have anything serious going on, judging by the symptoms I share with him. Recommends additional testing with my primary care physician
2. I chase HR for a list of workplace functions, which I forward to my PCP
3. On October 26, 2022, I go for my in-office visit with my PCP and we go over the workplace functions list. The only official duties listed for the strenuous function that was triggering my chronic pain are "operation of a ring-scanner device," which as you can guess from the sound of it, is a device that activates a barcode scanner when a button is pressed. We both agree that it's ridiculous to write a medical accommodation saying that I can't use this sort of equipment because the issue is with the constant walking and pushing I have to do in the Pick function (AKA, go around an area pushing a cart full of order totes, grab items off the shelves, then put totes on a conveyor belt). PCP writes a restriction limiting my walking time to 10 minutes at a time, which is a lot more accurate for my chronic conditions
4. I fax the new medical restrictions to the relevant offices after my appointment on the same day
5. After not receiving a response on the letter, I email HR on November 1, 2022
6. HR calls back on November 2, 2022 and after a lot of roundabout nonsense, informs me that they "cannot accommodate my restrictions" and allow me to return to work
So. I'm still furloughed.
I'll repeat what I posted when this whole thing started again:
My current Ko‑fi goal reflects the price of one month's rent at the bare minimum. You can donate here, but I'd like to reiterate again that I'd prefer to switch my primary source of income to my game development work.
