Does it ever help if you write the "easy parts" first? By which I mean just a small bit (say, two paragraphs) about the moment or idea you're most excited about. For me, that works sometimes, when my brain wants to do everything sequentially. If I think of it as writing a mini-chapter, with the ability to write "prequel" and "sequel" mini-chapters anytime. This can help me get the ball rolling. Hang in there!
I opened up one of my drafts and am trying to poke at it. I know I'm a good writer when I can write. Maybe it's because it's 1:30AM and I should go to sleep, idk.
A little bit of progress now will be there tomorrow (evidence! 🙂). I'm trying to remind myself of that now on a physical therapy (regarding some shoulder therapy). I'm trying to be patient with the healing process, but mostly failing! 😄
