I don't like having to chug an energy drink in the morning for my day job (12hrs of physical labor in 3 consecutive days) but coffee doesn't do shit for me anymore... unless I need to start doing espresso shots? Bang Energy is my choice of poison and it has 300mg of caffeine per serving, but I think it's the EAAs and B vitamins that make it work for me.

Do any of you chosters have suggestions for cheaper/healthier alternatives than dropping fat stacks for energy drinks? I try to only have 2-3 drinks at most a week but the costs do add up. I have chronic fatigue which may play a factor in things, and I am probably not very sensitive to caffeine. Prefer to pop pills if there's options there.

My partner and I drink a similar sort of caffeine thing and similarly often look for cheaper versions haha.

One thing we do sometimes is get energy mio (~$4, they claim it can be used to flavor 18 8oz drinks and imbue them with 60mg caffeine each) and add it to various other liquids to produce An Energy Drink. Getting the right concentration may be annoying though if you do a full 300mg drink quickly...

good luck with energy...... why are they so expensive (and also probably bad generally)

Ahhhh I got some of those Mio Energy water enhancers but it's so hard to remember using them... they definitely do stretch further for the price so I just gotta get over myself and do it 😤 wishing everyone an appropriate amount of energy to do things
