The MSQ iLvl Pace Feels Rooooough

I know it's balanced for stacked out FCs and statics-players and what have you, but I JUST got up to 575, played for maybe an hour or two, and now I've gotta claw up to 585. It took me ages to get up to 575!

Gonna hafta level my goddamn DoL/Hs just to maybe even craft past this. I know it wouldn't be, but I feel like that'd be quicker than spamming Troia until I get enough gear.

Still, Troia does have at least 5 chests. Alzadaal's had like, 3, I think, that had gear, and it was a sloooog.

Definitely not used to MSQ-type content being gear-locked; can you tell it's my first real brush close to end-game in FFXIV? :P

Yeah, that is quite rough to get up to speed :( Especially with no cheap tomestone stuff available yet

If you're doing roulettes/stuff besides just grinding Troia (and even when grinding Troia), have you checked the tomestone vendor in Radz-at-Han? She sells 590/610 ilvl gear so it could be possible to shore up some really glaring spots from there

Yeah, the Radz vendor was part of how I crawled up to 575.

I don't do a lot of roulettes nowadays. I find if the queue's longer than like, 5 minutes, I tap out, and the only times it's really not are Alliance Raids and fffffffffriggin' Gaius, which take long enough that I just haven't been bothering.

At the very least, I'll jump on and run a duty support run of current-cap to try and get more gear every now and then, but that's slow enough as well.

I'm tryna level WAR and DRK, both at... 37, I think? So I can have a tank to run roulettes with, but... I forgot how much I dislike people relying on me in duties, even when FFXIV has a reputably kinder MMO community than most others. Silly, I know, especially since it keeps me from tanking AND healing in duties...
