First: do it. There's no word limit here.
Second, and this is the real tip: 'read more'. It's the real life-saver.
The biggest, and IMO, only drawback to long chosts on Cohost is that the feed isn't... As... Wide as it could be. I get it, phones, not-everyone-uses-wide-screen, etc. But long chosts can be annoying as heck to scroll past... Unless...
You throw down a newline, blank, newline again, drop in three hyphens in a row, then another blank newline, then crank out your after-the-jump content!
As above!

So below!
This hides 'So below!' any anything else beneath under a nice little 'read more!' How considerate and wonderful! Everyone wins!
If you don't encase the hyphens between their own blank newlines, it becomes another heading (though the markdown for headings is actually hashtags). If you do it AFTER you've done a read-more already (again with the blank newlines), it becomes a nice little separator like this!
So, please, long-form to your heart's content, but for the rest of us, put a little teasy bit at the top to entice us, and huck the rest of your thick, throbbing word-meat under the teasing grey-sweat-pants of a read-more!
