Whatever problems it has, in production or result, aside (but not ignored, of course), it's, on all levels, extremely beautiful and tense, and doesn't feel like it wastes my time despite being a long artsy fuckin thing. When they say there's meaning in every shot, it feels super intentional in this fuckin' movie.
Maybe I'm just a sucker for Hans Zimmer and High Action punctuated with long slows, but damn if I'm not pondering what kind of full-seal mask I can wear for 3hrs when Part 2 hits cinemas...
