But can I stand playing a game that clearly values and is bettered by playing with others... That I ostensibly play solo? Such that I fucking forgot PartyFinder exists and that people use it? Because I am genuinely terrible at online socialisation that isn't just impersonal ships-in-the-night social media interactions. I'm in like, ten discord servers, at most, and literally only one isn't a perma-muted 'Community' server that I only join for info/links/etc... Not great at online socialising.
Can I handle playing in my Oceanic world again, where queues are slow to pop, especially as DPS, because I don't play solely in capitalist-mandated rest hours?
Can I handle not having enough gear to hit the current end of the story patches again, and facing down having to grind out the same dungeon twenty or more times just to scrape together enough gear to pass an ilvl check? (I do want to level my crafting more, though... Slow going, since I treat the entire spectrum of DoH/DoL jobs as 'one' job that I simultaneously advance in ~5-or-so level increments...)
These are, shall we say, not problems with the game; very much 'me'-problems. Ah, well, nevertheless. The temptation remains. Perhaps today, the day after reset, when everyone's likely at work, is the day.
