I am fucking obsessed with the narrative design in Helldivers 2. It is perfect. Every game mechanic reinforces the tone in a beautiful way, I have never seen a game of its scope just nail it like this

oh, it's definitely a couple steps more obvious than Starship Troopers vis a vis its satire and humour, but yes it is 100% in that lineage. And to be clear it is funny as fuck.
