Time for some light re-imaginings. Friday the 13th but Jason is a Camp Counselor that has to help his band of plucky misfit kids win the inter-camp derby between his underfunded and wacky camp with the preppy upper-crust camp across the lake: Camp Crystal Lake.

Oh yeah that's also a good idea.
They could have it be like, an offshoot/variant of Jason, and then when they inevitably encounter each other in movie 6 of the Light Reimagining, it'll be a clever subversion and introspection of monster/slasher/killer tactics and tropes as they try to kill each other.
Ultimately, original/evil Jason will win, and it'll be sad, b/c horror must ultimately reassert itself, but the twist is that Light Jason pulls the 'not really dead' post-credits trope, but in a 'gives you hope' kind of way.
