Just as a heads-up, they're planning on majorly reworking DRG (and AST) in 7.0 - apparently the changes are significant enough that they're the sort they're saving for an expac release.
Well I don't find DRG particularly engaging or interesting right now. I enjoy the aesthetic, but it feels unnecessarily tight a rotation w/o much variation, so I'm keen to see what comes of it!
Oh, we're of the same mind, then! I know there's folks out there who love DRG as it is, but I'm incredibly allergic to its current rotation so I'm selfishly glad for a change, lol. (Same with how PLD was recently changed to be more flexible.)
I came from mainlining Enhancement Shamans in WoW since classic, so I'm used to my core class completely being upheaved, tight rotations, and clusterfuck priority rotations.
I'm starting to spread out and enjoy other classes tho. Just not great at efficient levelling yet. ^-^;
