As a since-classic-WoW-Enhancement-Shaman main, RDM's access to powerful ranged, some melee, AND healing is basically the grail for me.
Finally getting around to trying out other classes, and, of course, I don't spin up a Tank or Healer, but another fuckin DPS.
But, dang if I don't like the criss-crossy balance style of RDM and all its vibes. I hope it's not like this for all classes, or I'll never fuckin leave this game.
I do think red mage is one of the most fun DPS to play. The balancing appeals to me in a way that most other classes don't
I just wish the 50-60 grind wasn't such a slog. I mean, I don't see it getting any better after 60, but at least I'll be able to try HoH instead of endlessly running PotD (haven't even gotten past lv21 yet...)
Yeahhh trying to level quickly is no fun. I just did roulettes every day which also sucks in the early levels. So many crystal tower runs.......so much praetorium........
