The pose took a bit to try and make it look like bashful headrubbing and not hip-cocked flex-posing (even though he's definitely flexing a bit...), but I really like it, and I really like the blurb. I might be tryin' something Just givin' it a go.

The tutorial I'm on will get me like half way there, but I'll probably get roadblocked by the angular topology of the figure I'm modelling; will probably have to model individual pieces to scale and fit them on to get the shapes right.

Still. It's something.

But I'm quitting while I'm ahead on this attempt - as soon as I hit detailing, I won't be able to incorporate the hard edged shapes effectively or efficiently enough to be worth the effort.

A loooooot of good skills picked up here, so a second pass would be good for repetition and practice, but I'm going to attempt a different method of modelling this body, one ironically in line with the fictional lore of the character being modelled.

But first, I'm going to build a full reference sheet, with angles that are as orthogonal as I can capture via screenshot + photo manip, plus back and top angles.

I could probably complete an attempt with that selection of reference as a single whole model, but the method I intend to try will allow for much desired customization, as well.
