Like, not even that, but they're often not appropriate for the thing they're imitating, even cinematically. The lightning bolt sound on the lightning blade, the creature roar near the end, the two swords hitting going CLIIINNNNNGGGGGG
It's very... Very weird. Did they decide the budget that needed to be cut this time was for sound? Because, historically, that's always a mistake.
The visuals look cool as fuck tho, not gonna lie. Yu Yu Hakusho never looked this cool - but I'm not sure it was ever meant to, so, we'll see!
