held an 1800s Wheatstone concertina in a music shop today that the man told me cost “thousands and thousands”….. it was so beautiful
This man had no interest in selling this instrument to Jack. Wouldn’t quote a price, said “it’s not for you”
So I guess nothing we make will sound like a 19th century concertina.
