like I know they're from a webcomic and like clams but other than that I don't know what they actually are or their origins and whatnot

they're like if rats occupied the niche of wading shore birds. the webcomic they're from has lots of different species of peoples in it! the author is definitely into speculative biology and it shows

Out Of Placers has a lot of very vivid descriptions of what it's like to physically feel being a different species so of course it's a magnet for TF trash kinnie sorts like myself.
Yinglets cannot eat bread (zhey zhrow up) but love eating clams (it's like a drug kinda)
