it's not fluffy but that's okay - i imagine it's big enough for that to not matter
also what happens to the pool ring? i would guess it pops bc of how big the tail grows near the butt. what happens then? is the demi form permanent after that?
i imagine if the ring got destroyed, you'd be stuck with whatever halfway shape you were in when it broke. it'd be "permanent" in a way, like... if there wasn't some sort of timer mechanism built in, this problem wouldn't just resolve itself. but, also, if there was a way to make this sort of object, there's probably a way to magic up some sort of solution as well. find the manufacturer, see about a warranty. call a wizard. read some help forums.
that said, finding a solution might be a lot harder than normal with the amount of extra mass that's been gained
