I just think it's really cute when. everyone is waiting in the circle while someone is watching a cutscene for a trial or a raid, and people are all occupying themselves in their different ways. like fidgeting, or autorunning into the wall, or dancing, or painting the floor, or eating bread. I love humans and I love MMO playing humans

I really think that for every eldritch-horror-beyond-mortal-comprehension that's cruel or indifferent towards humanity, there HAVE to be some that just love humans. like the common metaphor is that humans are to the eldritch what bugs are to humans, but have you seen how passionate some humans are about bugs? have you ever seen someone wail "NOOO DON'T KILL IT" over a spider before scooping it up and putting it outside??

(granted, sometimes "I really like bugs, I think they're cool/cute" means pinning bug corpses to a picture frame to preserve their beauty for all eternity, so "likes humans" doesn't necessarily mean "comprehensible" or even "benign towards humans on an individual level," but! humans are cute and interesting, actually)
