If a new syskid shows up, is anyone likely to adopt them?
There's one headmate who's taken it upon himself to look after anyone who doesn't have a system group. We don't have kids (one 18-year-old, though) and we don't get new people in general anymore, but if we did, he would readily take them under his wing.
