in-system relationships ask game/questionnaire, questions 8 and 9

Are there any parent/child relationships?

Nope! And considering how fraught that particular dynamic is for us, thank goodness.

Any other family groups within the system?

As mentioned earlier, familial dynamics just don't fit us in general. I'm personally even hesitant to use "found family" to describe us. (Others in the system are more comfortable with the idea than I am, though.)

I wonder if part of it is that familial stuff, in general, carries this undertone of obligation and... sterility and fakeness, for us? thanks to our upbringing. Our parents always cared more about looking good than being good.
