one of my deranged hobbies is ordering orange chicken from a different local Szechuan place every time, because sometimes you get orange chicken that's less garishly colored and less overly sweet than the stuff from Panda Express while still tasting Distinctively of oranges, and sometimes you open the box and are slammed in the face by an incredibly pungent aroma and when you bite into the chicken its this intense mix of garlic, ginger, and who knows what else with the gentlest, mellowest hint of orange underneath.
