I like this thought particularly because bees can't really do love the way we large-brain bipeds do, but a bee is perfectly capable of understanding "safe good animal" and the mental image of a bunch of bees crawling all over someone because that someone is safe and good... it's not the same thing as vertebrate love, but I think it's quite nice!
