really want to continue climbing palace of the dead but our internet enjoys Destablizing Suddenly and while I don't mind losing a run to my own stupidity I will be beyond mad if I lose my first ever 151+ runs to That :host-frown:

(which, like. I know that DCs are a fact of life with deep dungeon and I need to come to terms with them eventually, but it's an extra sore spot for me because I spent A Money to get my rig.... only to discover, to my horror, that its wifi connectivity possesses some kind of Inherent Shittiness that causes its speeds to cap out at well under half what any other device in the household has, and makes its connection sometimes Just Die for a whole day with no rhyme or reason. I spent some time learning about various wifi whatsits to get it to be even that stable to begin with, but according to the internet, this card is just also known for being a lemon. sighs.)

Having experienced the Fun and Thrills of a very expensive gaming rig that was utterly infested with gremlins, I am sending you so much sympathy. It's one thing to lose the video gayme because you hecked up, it's quite another to lose because the rocks you tricked into thinking went "MMM NAH" and hurled themselves off a cliff mid-game!

YEAH and it's like, go ahead and DC me in the middle of some other run! just let me have THIS ONE. let me die to fucking BEHEMOTH, the easiest boss to do on a HEALER, because I fucking choked! let me mix up Ram's Voice and Dragon's Voice! let me time out!!! just not that! please don't rub salt in the wound!!!

If stability is an issue, getting an ethernet cable run to your computer would probably be the best way to solve it. They're relatively cheap. That is, assuming it's not going to be a whole Thing getting the cord from the router to your computer
