I think my policy as a healer is that people are allowed to greed as long as at least one of the following conditions are met:

  • you do it well
  • you're my pal
  • it's funny

luckily for the many melee DPS and black mages out there, I find almost every instance of greed funny as long as you're not toxic about it :eggbug-wink:

shoutout to the one SAM in Labyrinth yesterday who, upon seeing that enough of their party had made it to the pad to put the shield up, ran back in to smack Phlegethon around and died spectacularly for it

in reply to @bazelgeuse-apologist's post:

recent funny greed moment was doing Praetorium and after Nero the healer needed to take care of something and AFKd, so the other DPS and us waited for them to finish... however, the tank didn't, kept going on autopilot, started the cutscene, and tried to fight Gaius before our healer came back, and died for it

I’ll admit to greeding sometimes on Reaper. Sometimes it’s because I’m still new to the job and picked a bad time for my Enshroud, then got too busy pressing my buttons, but I count it as worth it if I greed for a limit break and manage to get it off.
