my toxic trait is that if there are first-timers in Aglaia I deliberately hold back on damage on the last boss so they'll have a chance of seeing [big signature mechanic]

you know something, i had a run through that place that was about 21 minutes. absolutely no chance at all. the first boss barely made it past the end of his stage transition returning to normal. 3 cutscene watchers (kudos to the group for waiting but also that really synced the buffs back up)
i have to wonder if someone is able to explain how SE screwed up the numbers this badly; it feels like the party numbers are around 5.0-era stats despite the "once every ten years" stat squish, but also maybe consequences of tightening the burst windows, which calls for higher HP since the party spikes harder, which makes the combat jumps bigger, which causes the party to kill a god at around "Fired Up I" because he drew the short straw in the planning lotto
(getting pulled out of the comment box by men in suits) and MAYBE if they'd just let the party DISENGAGE ONCE IN A while--...
Maybe they could shave about 10-15% of HP from the NieR bosses, and donate them to the Twelve in the Myths of the Realm, since we're big into balancing the shards anyway these days
