Honestly, researching spirit possession REALLY helped mellow me out on this. Haitian Vodou in particular has the same lwa mounting a bunch of different people, and this is just an accepted thing where the horses will joke about it together.
I feel like the shadiness is when people use it to speedrun intimacy or take advantage of people. HOW they use it is the problem.
