If the writers of the game itself refuse to commit to a real timeline, why should you trouble yourself figuring out your character's age unless you feel like it? If the twins haven't even had a birthday cake in between exploring the Coils and saving the entire universe from [unprintable] there is no reason to hold yourself to higher standards if it's inconvenient. Embrace it.

Oh, definitely! Lucent's age is one of those things that I think is funnier to be vague about, because for all we know he's like 80 years old and still That Way.
I do like figuring out timelines for stuff like, how his stay in Sharlayan might have lined up with various events in the world's history, but that's more because working within constraints helps me think of ideas!
