You do not need to join in order to participate in the FFXIV community on Cohost. That being said, we do a lot of neat stuff over on the Discord - some folks cleared a savage raid for the first time the other day, for example! We also have periodic venue hangouts and a small in-game space for the community.
Please note that this is an 18+ only space. Explicit content stays in the dedicated NSFW channels, but there's still frank discussion of sexuality and other mature topics in the general channels.
