ah, one of my semihydro basils has root rot :( thinking about how I can best save this baby... I've pruned off the worst of the rotten roots for now, I think I might slowly prune back the other badly afflicted roots while changing out the nutrient water regularly and adding some rooting/seaweed solution to help perk it up? we'll see how this goes
the funniest thing is that I found this out only because I was clumsy and knocked over its pot (that "lightweight expanded clay aggregate" sure can lightweight) which resulted in me having to scramble to pick up several dozen little orbs but also let me get a good look at its roots for the first time in months. here I was just thinking it preferred to grow horizontally instead of vertically
