personal pikmin thoughts: could use more plant and less guy but the guys are little so it's fine actually

there is actually something quite subtly disturbing about pikmin, like how they'll swarm murder a creature and then drag its corpse back to feed their parent plant without hesitation, in unison, and I think that's very plant of them actually. if it could move faster my basil would absolutely have eaten me by now

I'm not convinced... I mean, not that I know more about plant "cognition" than the rest of us, but nature is rife with symbiotes. I don't see why plants would have no chance of appreciating the meat that fends off threats and showers them in water and light.
