(fallen london stamps by I feel like Kataleptic Toxicology is my overall favorite advanced skill/magcat in FL, on multiple fronts. the concept of it is so good. I love it when poison is weird and esoteric and you get to use it in weird and esoteric ways. I love that its applications are more nuanced than just "kill someone real good." I love that it's a damn pain to level compared to like, Glasswork - no, like, seriously, a skill in poisons should be Suffering to level up. and I love that a big part of doing so is recreationally poisoning yourself
but most of all? it's just so satisfying as a set of words. it makes sense to sound out. it has some great consonants. it has some great letter shapes. it abbreviates well, whether you abbreviate it to KataTox or KT. it's just... aesthetically Good
