A physician from the Surface, Lukas descended into the Neath many years ago in hopes of advancing medicine and bettering lives everywhere through Neathy sciences. His hopes were shattered when he stumbled upon an awful secret about the nature of death - and reforged when he resolved to bring about the end of death itself.
Rafael Sofía A_______-N______, aka The Auspiced Wayfarer
he/him or they/them
Rafael was only a child when London fell, killing his parents and leaving him and his older brother on their own. Against all odds - and with a little help from behind the mirrors - they survived, and thrived. However, as a young adult, his life would be turned upside down again by a strange, cold blessing: never shall he age, for never shall his travels cease, for no wanderer shall cease to wander.
Wren, aka The Unflinching Sentinel
she/her
A Khaganian by birth, Wren was orphaned in London under mysterious circumstances. She eked out a rough life among the urchin-gangs as a child, then among criminals in her adulthood as a professional murderess. Though she's turned her back upon that life, she's haunted still by a gnawing emptiness - and by dreams of deep water and terrible thirst.
I'd like to do some doodles/pitches for the other four as well, but I think I'll wait until I get a better sense of their backstories first.
