"hey Phosphor, what's your favorite Rise feature? wirebugs? dogs? followers? or--" kinsect canceling

"what?" kinsect canceling! it's when you cancel your laggy post-attack animations by recalling or sending out your kinsect. it was present before to an extent, but it's much more effective in Rise!

"wait is that seriously your favorite thing in Rise" yes! it's my ABSOLUTE FAVORITE!

maybe this is an unpopular opinion but I do not give two shits about Silkbind Attacks actually. I do not care for another gauge to manage. what I want is to be able to hack and slash and run more gooder and animation canceling gives me exactly that. I will take it any day over another flashy attack that I have to Make A Chore of remembering to use

i was gonna say that i also dont use silkbind attacks but then remembered that the bow "dodge to the side super far and also gain your stamina back megafast on landing" move is a silkbind attack technically. i only ever press the Actual Attack silkbind by accident though
