the thing fountain pens and mechanical keyboards have had in common for me is that they're getting me to write/type a LOT more than before. turns out that our hands and shoulders actually have quite a lot of opinions about what kinds of contortions are acceptable for typing (read: none), and also how hard we should press to get ink out of a pen (read: none)
