specifically my "oh shit I'm getting mobbed (and I'm currently not an OP space ninja)" strategy is

  1. kite the melee guys in circles while I use my gun to pick off the ranged guys
  2. continue kiting as I use my gun to repeatedly pick at the heads of the big melee guys (they always spam their unblockables? otherwise I'd parry + finisher them)
  3. close in and parry + finisher the little melee guys

there is just a lot going on at once, with having to also keep an eye on the melee guys and kneecap them now and then so they don't blindside me with the charged attacks. which like, it's manageable and even satisfying in its own way, but it's hard to tell if this is intended difficulty, if I'm trying to juggle the work of four people, or if I'm missing some crucial aspect of my kit
