warframe youtuber: "so, when you fire a perfect shot from nataruk, instead of an arrow, you'll fire a bolt of energy the size of a pringles can. cinta works the same way, where the perfect shot fires a bolt of energy instead of an arrow. but instead of a pringles can, it's more like... the side of a trailer"

the really funny thing is that you can consistently hit headshots on enemies (with the associated crit bonus) using Cinta's perfect shot... but in order to do so, you have to fire the energy bolt a fair distance above their heads, so you clip them with the edge of the trailer-sized hitbox. this weapon is so stupid and fiddly and it was a nightmare to farm. I will never stop using it

"cinta" in indonesian means "love." while my cursory google says that this particular word is generally used in romantic contexts, "love" is a pretty accurate word for how I feel about this weapon

I don't know if you were around when Nataruk dropped, but the way it and Cinta's "perfect shot" work is that you have to release the arrow at a very specific window and it will transform, meaning that you're playing a kind of rhythm game that gets harder if you spec the bow for drawspeed. Here's a video showing it off (clickbaity title, but the Youtuber does clarify that "best" is situational, so I respect that)

It's so much effort but I love it, you fire a bolt of BLUE FIREBALL and everything in its direction falls over screaming and flaming

EVERYTHING ABOUT THIS WEAPON IS SO "there is no goddamn reason it has to be like that." Farming it involves completing possibly dozens of hours worth of randomly spawning non-combat puzzles in a side area and praying that RNG loves you... except that if you enter the side area at specific times of the day there is one Big Puzzle that is nonetheless faster to solve, reset, and solve again than wandering around hoping you'll find the smaller puzzles. This side area has a convoluted Deeper Lore Plot that is only scrutable, let alone relevant LATE into the main plot, and an entirely different combat system... except that it's accessible from the very start of the game for, reasons?

So. You could just play the game normally and maybe do this side area later... or if you were actually insane, you could beeline for this side area and spend dozens of hours farming puzzles to get this bow, which ofc sequence breaks the game's powerlevel progression into little itty bits as you decimate every earlygame mission with the power of big blue fireballs with stupid massive hitboxes.

So naturally, guess what I did.
