also for plural folks looking for a social media without exclusionary bullshit: it's been a while since we've been on Plural Cafe, so we don't know what its exact vibes are like. but we can at the very least vouch for it being an inclusive space that doesn't put up with bigotry or exclusionary slapfighting. it also supports local-only posting, if you're like us and wary of the Wider Fediverse

Edit: Looks like Plural Cafe is also shutting down, but Weirder Earth forbids identity policing, has a bunch of plural folks already, and was generally cool from what I remember of it. It's invite only, but I have an account. I'll check with the admins and see if they're cool with me bringing Cohost folks there.

Uh. Bad news. Plural cafe is also shutting down, apparently - I went to sign up and got "Registrations are closed as the instance is broken and will be closed this year."

Ah, damn! Thanks for the heads-up. I think weirder.earth is probably a good option as well - lots of plural people there, and I need to check their rules but I'm pretty sure exclusionary bullshit isn't allowed.

Edit: looks like weirder.earth is invite-only atm, but I'm registered there and can probably help people sign up. Also, looks like "identity policing" is under the list of forbidden things, so I would hope that includes plural exclusionism!
