It's basically a blog, but all posts are hidden and can only be viewed with an account, which you make for people at their request. Accounts also have private RSS links they can use to keep up with your posts that way. We have one that we're currently using as a mirror for our locked fedi posts, for good friends who aren't on fedi.
Big caveat: it needs to be hosted, but as with FreshRSS, PikaPods will do that for you for a few bucks a month.
