so far, this is the most effective strategy we've discovered for keeping ourselves off of our non-work computer:

  • open up Sky on said computer
  • go to Harmony Hall
  • plonk down an intrument stand (thing that lets other players play the instrument that you put on it)
  • put a rare and tempting instrument on the stand
  • stand back
  • be unable to do anything with the computer because it would mean interrupting a bunch of people's impassioned violin/cello/handpan practice
  • profit???

My Valley experience has been significantly improved by discovering that I can use the Season of AURORA teleport to completely skip the flying race. (I'm aware that there is an OOB trick one can do to skip it as well, but I haven't bothered to learn it yet.)
