Honestly, thrilled for this. I think the biggest issue with The Mandalorian as it has progressed has been the show deviating from episodic storytelling-- crisp, concise blasts of Star Wars adventures in 40 minutes or less-- and slouching into bloated myth arcs and season-long stories. I think getting Favreau to tell a clear 90-120 minute story about these two wonderful characters is good for them, good for him, good for us.

I think this also has some kind of implication for Filoni's film, and probably positive there, too. Buried in the article is confirmation for Ahsoka S2, and surely the offloading of any Mando debt on his future plate is positive; and the unbinding of any future Ahsoka series to a concurrent Mando season is positive as well. One hopes, anyway!

Garbage title. Stinky title. The mouthfeel is rotten to the core. The Mandalorian & Grogu. A coward's title chosen for brand recognition and not for how stupid you feel saying it out loud. No human being is going to go to a ticket booth and say "& Grogu" when they order. Get out of here.
