100% I believe the suffix -ooine is a bit of post-colonial Huttese detritus left on planets that used to exist inside of Hutt Clan territory. But what could it mean?
Someone with a similar thought to me says "planet" or "place near a star"-- cute, but profoundly lame; can you imagine the dullness of it just being Planet Tat or Planet Dan?1 Besides, real language is weirder. I feel like the real word would carry more artifacts with it.
So here's what I propose: I think "-ooine" means "bog". I think the early Hutts made their fortunes mining the rich iron and peat from their swamp planets bogs, and I think when they went to the stars they went looking for more bogs to mine, and whenever they found a place they thought could make them rich, they said, "Ah, here's a bog for me," and it stuck.
I think Tatooine means Sand Bog. I think Dantooine means Land Bog. I think Klatooine is literally "The Bog we get those Klaatooians from". I think if you're a Hutt, the whole universe is your bog. It's all one big ooeenee.

That said, I love the notion that it was originally pronounced pronounced as "doo-een-ee". Excellent note there, bored internet rando.
