Millions revising their belief that it's 'never racist to do an Italian accent' upon hearing Chris Pratt's Mario voice.

This is going to reopen so many old wounds in the Italian-American community.

I know it's just his normal voice but it's so full of vitriol and hate. I heard him say "It's a me, Mario" and suddenly I knew two new archaic slurs for Italians and one specifically for Sardinians.

When reached for comment, the Italian Ambassador to the US said:

We've got our own problems right now. We don't need this. It would be better if they just dubbed Mario with someone else repeating "I make-uh the pizza pie"
