because it weirdly combines "made a single thing and then collapsed/burnt out/etc" and "had a long successful career that briefly lined up with a zeitgeist" or any number of other scenarios
but ok go is an interesting band because they had a an album with a song that did well and then later had a bizarre second major success that basically had nothing to do with any music they were making
