I made a feature request. Even without a number on it, the allure of that red notifications oval is strong and I would love some settings changes that make it easier for me to check notifications at a more leisurely pace. It's actually four suggestions in one (because I think they become more useful in combination). If any or all of them sound good, I'd love to see some votes on it and if any of them sound bad/short-sighted, I'd love some feedback so that there's a better proposal that is more worthy of staff's time

someone made some of these suggestions before many months ago through cobugs, but idk whether they actually posted the idea in assc.

yeah, I think i've even mentioned one or two of them on another requests so hopefully staff doesn't see this as a duplicate. hopefully this is something enough people want that we can get some of it
