I don't use Chrome very often1, but sometimes I need to see if a site will render correctly in something that isn't Firefox. Every time I do, I'm absolutely furious that when I press ⌘Q to close it, instead of quitting it pops up an obnoxious message telling me I have to "Hold ⌘Q to quit". Fuck off. You're not more important than every other program. Just follow the macOS conventions.

You can turn off this functionality in the settings2. The last setting under 'Appearance' is "Show warning before quitting with ⌘Q". 'Appearance' is a weird place to put that, it clearly is a functionality thing. I would have guessed it was under 'Accessibility' or 'System' but also I just used the search bar like everyone else would.

  1. I mean, besides all the electron apps I have to use

  2. I actually had it turned off, I think I fixed it last time I opened Chrome
