It's smoky out so I didn't want to spend a lot of time outside (so instead I went outside several times with the idea "maybe I can catch something close to home". Thought this jet photo might be it but I think it only really would have worked with better focus on the treetops.
I also was entertaining the idea of working out if I could shoot this flower and the sun with the same level of blur as to make them look identical and then go with a pair of photos (or fuck around with multiple exposure) but I wasn't going to get a good sun shot without going to a field and it didn't seem worth it. an idea for another day I guess.
there is something fun in the desperation of "what is fun and also not too identifiable in my back yard". I also discovered what appears to be a pretty big1 spider living on a shed but it was hiding behind a leaf so I couldn't get a good shot. I'll try another day

not big like a dock spider or a tarantula or whatever. big for a small spider. Maybe it's an orbweaver? it looks like it has a body that's round and bigger than a marble
