The thing about looking for a job is that so much of it is completely dehumanizing—it’s manually typing your résumé into a form so they can send a rejection email quicker—so by the time you do interviews, you’re surprised you know how to do the job you did for years

I am trying to change school districts to be closer to home and lemme tell you the combo of silence I hear from HR and the deafening "we have no teaching staff!" stories I hear from the news is gonna be my jokerfication.
